Color Swaps

Among my favorite “creative” tasks is coming up with new colors for portrait backdrops.

Why is appeals to me is because I’ve always liked color. Color in combination with portraits automatically became my thing many years ago.

Arguably the best color for portraits is grey, and everything else is somewhat objectionable.

Here are some conversions I did from a yellow paper backdrop to a blindly bright and saturated “Chartreuse” yellow:

***To make it somewhat realistic, You need to swap the skin tones as well, because shadows tend to capture the ambient lighting around the subject.
